Here are finally some pictures of the finished Hibiscus for Hope socks. Now I just need to wrap them up and give them to my friend.

Here's the completed Helmet Liner. My son likes it so much I think I'll work on re-sizing the pattern to fit his four year old head and make him one.

Yesterday I went to Twist and purchased all the yarn to make another pumpkin basket. The pattern is 12:01 by Nathania Apple. Last year I made one for my best friend as a birthday gift but I still want one of my own. Cast on last night and am quickly making progress. Of course it helps that it's knit up on size 13s.

Dear Programming Geniuses,

Please, please, please develop a grocery shopping app like SplashShopper or Handyshopper for Android. I love my G1 but I desperately need a grocery list program for it.

Love,
Amy
Things are super busy with the business right now. This is the time of year when everyone wants to have outdoor portraits for the fall color. Unfortunately it always seems to be that there is a two week window of time when everyone wants in. The same thing happens in the spring too, usually the third week of May or so.

I'm trying to catch up with everything. I have managed to fall behind in absolutely everything. Scrambling to get work finished and delivered and keep the family clean and fed. Exhausting.

I'm about 1/3-1/2 way done with Christmas shopping which is a plus. I'm hoping to finish all of that before Christmas and just have a nice relaxing holiday season. We'll see, that's always the plan but somehow it never quite works out that well.

In knitting news I don't have anything on the needles at all right now. I finished up the Hibiscus for Hope socks but have been so busy I haven't even managed to get any pictures of them let alone deliver them to the person I made them for. After the socks I knit up a helmet liner to donate to the troops. I am very pleased with how it turned out and am thinking of re-sizing the pattern to fit my little guy. He's quite taken with the project and I think he would enjoy having one of his very own. It would also keep him very warm this winter while he's playing outside at preschool.

That's all for now. I'll be posting pictures from our family trip to an apple orchard soon.

Ugh. I think I'm getting arthritis in my hands.
